A Morning Escape at Wolkonsky Bakery.

On a quiet street in the heart of the city sits Wolkonsky Bakery, a coffee shop and bakery that has become my morning ritual escape. As soon as I wake up, I find myself craving their fresh-baked goods and expertly brewed coffee.

Upon entering the cozy space, the aroma of bread and pastries envelops me in a warm welcome. Glass cases shine with buttery croissants, Danishes bursting with fruit, and other delicacies crafted from recipes honed over Wolkonsky's 50-year history.

With coffee and baked wonder in hand, I settle into an armchair by the window. As I savor the first bite of a melt-in-your-mouth almond croissant, the world outside seems to wake up, people bustling to work and shops opening their doors. But inside Wolkonsky, time moves at a more leisurely pace.

This little bakery has become not just a place to drop in, but a place that feels like an old friend. The baristas know my order by heart, and we exchange friendly chatter. More than the food alone, it's this feeling of familiarity and comfort - of having a place to comfortably slip into the day - that keeps me coming back to Wolkonsky Bakery. With fresh wonders awaiting, it's the perfect refuge to start the morning.
